I have used hundreds of Meteor pistons and they last as long or longer than OEM. Pistons rarely fail without a cause, find that cause while replacing yours. Be sure your fuel and air systems are good to go and tuned properly.

The choke side of the carb feels like there's a slight tweek in something but has no affect on its function. I replaced the factory original carb that seems impossible to get dialed back into function once sombody has started twisting on the H and L idle adjustments. This replacement carb worked upon installation needing very minor adjustment which I've yet to even feel any urgent need for. I've used the saw a couple times now after putting new piston, rings, and cylinder on, and now this carb. How awesome after having it returned by thief's that kept my good running saw. They returned the one I was yet to rebuild, thanks you scum bags sincerely from my hardened heart. Especially after seeing the stupid price ms200 stihl chainsaws are selling for used! My god you would think Stihl would figure that sh!t out and scrap that junk they replaced it with? But as far as the carb goes I ordered a second one and hope it's as good as the first? Get em while you can, the good stuff don't last long it seems. ;)Read full review

The description in the listing couldn't have been any more true than my situation. Had a mid 80's Stihl that I loved but stopped working. Took it to local saw shop, said I needed new carb, piston/rings, cost over $500 to fix or could by a new MS311 for $550. Bought the rebuild service here for $270. Got the saw back 12 days later running perfectly. Couldn't be happier.

I am a Professional Arborist for 25 Years and have used STIHL, HUSQVARNA & ECHO Topping Saws ( designated by the Letter T = MS200T 338xpT CS-355T T540xp The MS200T will go down in Chainsaw History as the Lightest Most Powerful & Balanced PRO Arborist/Topping chainsaw ever built. The Echo cs-355t is a VERY GOOD saw for the money, but DO NOT believe anyone who tells you it has the same, or even more power then the MS200T. They are DREAMING. STIHL recently fixed the issues with the first version MS201T and the newer model MS201T-C has GREAT power. I would take the MS200T over any other Topping chainsaw, even if you have to pay more, because you are getting more. The Husqvarna T540xp has more power then the Echo cs-355T as well. Every Arborist should have at least two Topping saws. If you cannot afford two MS201T then save some money and buy one STIHL MS201T and one Echo cs-355T. Use the Echo for smaller limbs/trees. Pull out the MS201T for the more serious take downs and larger jobs. I do AGREE with everyone who states that the STIHL MS200T has a HIGH price to it $$$$. But it also EARNS it.Read full review

This tank is made in the USA and from all appearances appears to have been better made than the tanks that come on these saws that are still made in Germany. Fit was identical. Only question will be if it can hold up to the abuse these climbing saws receive, especially the drops which seem to crack the German tanks at the electronically welded seams; the plastic doesn't crack, just the weld. There is a lot of dissatisfied Stihl owners as a result of this problem. In metal a properly done weld is stronger than the metal. But the welds in these plastic tanks don't seem to follow the same rule. My son is hoping for the best with this tank. BTW, this tank is 100 times easier to replace than the tank on an MS201T. Stihl took a good design (o20T/MS200T) and mucked it up (MS201T) and it had nothing to do with emissionsRead full review
