It's important to say that I am not a collector of model kits. I've been chasing the die-cast version of the falcon that Disney Store sells, for months now, with no success. One evening I walked into a Target and saw this model kit, and said, "why not?!"...I'll give it a go. Not only was I impressed by the size of it, but I didn't even notice until I got home, that it came with a device that gives it lights and sound, and it has retractable landing gear!!! Now I was really impressed!!! It comes in several pieces....no stickers needed, no paint needed....it really is the easiest thing I've ever snapped together in about 5 minutes or so. And the beauty of it, is that it is a solid, durable object once assembled, and it looks great on a shelf with the rest of my collectibles. I'm severely looking forward to collecting more of these snap-tight ships! THE CONS: The guns on the top and bottom of the ship are just molded into the design and look flat. They spin around, which is cool, but there's no dimension to the shape of the guns. But honestly, this thing is so cool, it really isn't that much of a bother to me. Highly recommended for the casual collector, and/or if you can't find or afford the die-cast ship that now sells on eBay for over $80.00!!! This is a perfect substitute.Read full review

This model product from Revell is a product of the late '60's when model kits were unique and interesting. The precise detail of today's models is lacking in this one BUT this one was the standard back then with most manufacturers. NOBODY else has made one like this. Made one in the late '60s but was later stolen. This model is my 2nd one(deja vu)`. I have continued building model kits thru the years into rtmt which satisfies my creative urge. Thanks to the internet, I can detail this boat heavily, seeing how much detail that was left out. I found the correct designation of the boat and 4 pages of detail for the engine plus the inside layout with many changes. They left a guide for the mid wall but never put it in and so on. It is an LCP(R), USN but will be a more accurate UDT mission craft...RHERead full review

This kits was easy to put together and looks good. There is not painting required. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it could use some more weathering and I wish the lights could be set to stay on.

Not a bad little model. Needs a little help in the paint department but over all, very nice.
