This is a wonderful game that keeps all players engaged. I purchased this for my 5 year old who loves spongebob and has probably seen the movie well 20 times. The graphics are not as great as some other PS2 games, simple to use and easy to learn. It is even fun for adults I played and really liked it as well. My younger son loves it and my 11 year old was able to get the hang of it pretty quickly so that he could help his younger brother. The game follows different parts of the movie from the beginning. I really recommend it for anyone will kids under 10 who love spongebob and are looking for a nice easy to learn and easy to follow game.
I bought this game because I had rented it for my son and he got hooked on it. At times he would ask me to help him and I would play for him to get him past a level and then I got hooked. I never thought I would enjoy it so much. There were times when I would take advantage of his absence due to schooling by actually taking some time to play the game myself. Talk about guilty pleasures! What I like about it is that it is not so violent as Splinter Cell, Halo, Hitman I, II, III etc and yet it is just as fun. The only thing I don't like is that there are little, if any, cheat codes for it. I tried looking some up but couldn't find any. At least for PS2.
This game is great for any SpongeBob fan. It has all the charecters from the movie. Some of the challanges are too hard for younger players which is a bad thing, since the game should be for younger players. Overall the game is great if you have an adult who doesn't mind helping the younger ones get through the timed chalenges.
Very fun to play! It's not a very long game though. Each world has a different character and graphic theme. Fun for the whole family. "The Battle For Bikini Bottom (excellent game) took us weeks to finish. This one took like 2 days. If I were to do it over, I'd still buy it but I'd try to buy a used copy to save some ca$h. The game length is not worth the 'brand new' sticker price.
I love it!!! Was a Christmas gift for my 5 1/2 yr. old who loves Spongebob. I don't play, but found it comical that he was wining and pouting that he could'nt get to the next level. Anyways, I proceeded to tell him to keep trying and do not give up. Part of the fun is learning to do something you could'nt do before and being proud of yourself when you do accomplish it. A few days later, he beat the level and moved on. Definately his favorite game. Birthday is coming in Feb., so I'll probably try 2 get him another Spongebob game to challenge him.
