Given it's nothing like the spiderman games that are out now, but this game was what us old school video gamers had in 1982. Spiderman is pretty much just a blue and red human shaped figure that climbs and swings on buildings catching bad guys and trying to stop the green goblin and the bomb ol' gobby has hidden on top of each building. Like most atari games it's the same level after another, just gets to be taller and shorter amount of time to clear. Really quite a challenge for such a simple idea of a game.
I had this game 25 years ago as a child, and it is just as fun to play today as then. It brings back memories and is still quite challenging as my eye to hand coordination has deteriorated somewhat. If you like good superhero games, this one comes in high, even better than the classic Superman.
Wow , talk about a great Atari game from the past. I still own this and every once in a while we haul out the old 2600 and start playing. i think it is funny how back in the day i could play these games for hours upon hours but now they get boring in about 10 minutes. This is lame at best but still cool. You clinb up the side of a building and swing to dodge crap that is falling.
Works great
