Have three sets of these headphones and really like this model. I have other more expensive headphones but these are good, all around phones that provide the sound I need to hear and they're comfortable. The ONE weakness I found is that if you aren't careful taking them off or putting them on, it IS possible to snap the over-the-head piece right at the headphone. I did that but reglued it and it's held together well - just have to be a little careful taking them off especially if you're in a hurry as I was. Just normal use and a bit of care and you'd be fine. The sound quality is well worth the minimal price these phones cost and like having good inexpensive headphones around that provide the range of sound necessary for what I do. Granted the more expensive ones have greater frequency range and are much more sturdy - but for the price point, these are excellent in my opinion.,Read full review

I bought a used pair and they were great while they lasted, which was a matter of weeks. I use headphones to watch TV and bought these to replace a pair of JVC ones I had been using. The sound quality was great but then one night one side just suddenly stopped working. They had not been dropped or had anything happen to them that would have caused this. So I gotta go with a neutral rating. I threw them away and went back to my faithful JVC headphones. They were very comfortable to wear and the sound quality was very good. I especially liked the padding used around the ears. The cord was a nice length too.

these headphones are vintage model, less expensive than the professional studio version so I was reluctant at first to try and go ahead with the purchase. But upon receiving them I have not been disappointed. They are providing great sound and comfortably isolate the experience of listening. thanks for giving my moment of private pleasure!

Was in the consumer reports magazine several years ago as a best buy when they reviewed headphones. I tried them and they have very good to near excellent sound quality. The only caveat would be they begin to pinch your ears after some time until they eventually loosen up which takes months. (the plastic headband)

I'm no hipster headphones expert, but I do like a rich sound: warm lows, sparkling highs, and (perhaps most importantly) mids that are full without being barky and causing listener fatigue. I've spent hundreds, maybe thousands of hours listening to music on these headphones -- everything from classical to techno. These will always be my go-to headphones. (I'm writing this review because I bought an -extra- pair, just in case the other breaks.) Over-the-ear is the way to go, in terms of both comfort (especially with marathon listening sessions) and ear health. And of course the fact that these headphones are cheap is a huge plus. I can't believe that people pay so much more for so much less. This is one of those rare products that I'm happy to endorse freely, with no reservations.
