This is an original cute romantic comedy. It's about Jane who gets burned by her boyfriend (who has another girlfriend) and then in order to deal with it comes up with a theory comparing men to cows. The theory takes on a life of its own and things don't really work out for Jane. It is quite funny and heartwarming when she realizes its just not that simple. That her theory really does not work. Not to mention Hugh Jackman is great to look at. I bought it because it was a cute movie, I am a girl and we pretty much like all romantic comedies. :) On the romantic comedy scale I would give it 3 out of 4 stars!
I like Ashley Judd, but, well let's be honest here. I only bought this movie because it had Hugh Jackman in it. Plain and simple. He's HOT. Oh...yeah...good movie too. Definite chick flick. Some partial nudity / sex scenes. So not a family movie. More like a 'girls night in' movie. Gist of the story: Judd falls for a guy she works with. It doesn't work out / he backs out. After he / she have already signed to get an apartment together. She has already told her apartment manager she's moving / he has a new tenant ready to move in, and she can't afford the new apartment by herself. In steps Hugh. He is another co-worker of hers - that she doesn't like, who has been looking for a room mate. He's (or seems to be) a comeplete narcissist, and a smoker, and has casual sex with any female he can get near. She has no choice but to move in with him. And does so somewhat to spite the guy who dumped her. It gets strange from here. Good movie. Watch to find out about the 3 twists.Read full review

One of my favorites.... cute and happy...... a nice change of pace from what is out there right now. I like the acting cast very much.... good chemistry between all. thanks. I like the soundtrack as well and purchased it later on.
Cute, but not much substance. A really good movie if you just want to vegetate and not have to worry about following much of a plot. Ashley Judd is MUCH better with drama, tho' she does well with the subject matter she has here.
Not very good, as far as romantic comedies go...except for Ashley Judd, the acting was very mediocre, and the plot was weak...too much time spent on the Ray character and not enough spent building up the Eddie-Jane relationship, so when it suddenly hit her at the end that she liked him, it suddenly hit the audience, too. Not what you want in a chick-flick, I think.
