I purchased a Brennan B2 digital music storage device. Its an excellent piece of kit, but I felt it needed a boost in clarity. Slotting the M6 between the Brennan and the amp has improved the musicality of my setup by quite a margin. I was so impressed that I purchased a second unit to update my old Cambridge CD player, with the same positive effect. Well worth the money and easy to use. I may upgrade the power supplies at some point. Martin.

This DAC is a great addition to any budget setup. I have it between my PC, TV and an old Denon DCD 635 and my Arcam Alpha 2 amplifier and Cyrus (Mission) 781 speakers. Although the soundstage isnt brilliant, the sheer level of detail this little DAC digs up is excellent, it has truly given my CD player a new lease of life. It handles many formats and bit rates and is plug and play with my PC. Whether with Tidal, Spotify or DSD streams the playback is great. A touch bass heavy but for the money these units cost one cant complain. As good as a soundblaster e3 but with more flexibility of inputs. I wouldnt have felt ripped off if I had paid £200 for this.

Worked straight away on my Win 10 system with no software to install. I use Foobar with WASAPI plugin and it handled all my music no matter what the sample rate was. The build quality is excellent especially as it's under £70. I would have preferred if it was the same width as my SMSL SA-50 amp.
