The batteries come with metal tabs. My battery case's existing clips were soldered onto the old battery. I had to replace the clips and solder them onto the new battery tabs (to make a secure connection). Not a big task but takes some preparation. Definitely not a "drop-in" replacement. (This is not to disparage the batteries, they seem to work as advertised.) I would make the purchase again.

Cells seem to be new and in great working order. Contacts are a bit more flimsy than the original battery's contacts being made from a lighter gauge metal so you have to be careful when re-soldering to the battery enclosure terminals not to bend them too much - which can be a challenge since it can be difficult to remove all the old solder from the original terminals once removed from the old battery pack.
