LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book. I just read it and want to start back at page 1 and read it again. There is so much helpful information about running. From things like what sports bra to wear, to how to handle your bladder while on a run and other topics that most other running books wouldn't cover and in such a humorous way too. Dimity will have you laughing from beginning to end. I loved every bit of this book and would recommend it to every new and experienced runner. Its turned me from fitness instructor to wanna-be runner. You'll love it!
Wonderful book! I was just starting to run and didn't have the courage to train or push myself. I read parts of this book and learned some lingo. When I went to the running store I got invited to do some speed training. I was so excited I knew what they were talking about. I would have never joined a running group or stepped up my running game without having read this book first. This book is not for runners as much as it is for moms who think they might try running. READ IT!
I love the two different personalities that wrote the book. There are song playlist suggestions, funny quotes from other running mothers. Everything about this book is perfect. It is great for a new runner, or someone that needs advice on running pregnant, running your first 5K up to Marathon. It is a jpy to read and then re-read! A must have for running mamas!
I'm only about halfway through, but so far I love the book. I also recommend subscribing to their blog and liking them on FaceBook. The authors are very interactive.
