They seemed to feel a little....errr......old or rough...right out of the package, but I assumed that's how Rotos felt. Upon installation the D string popped/snapped immediately, and I didn't even turn the tuning peg that much. Another beef I have is that the seller initially put these up as .105 (not .110) E string AND stainless steel (not nickel) and only after I ordered them and the string snappage happened did I notice that the description was changed to .110 - heavy and nickel. I can't leave loose/pointy strings lying around my small apartment b/c I have a couple cats and one of them got injured chewing on string wires once. I tossed the item and will not deal w/ Pitbull again unless they make this right and send me the right item. I attempted to contact the seller two days ago with no reply.Read full review

I play in D standard with a drop C. These strings are great for that. They are also durable, lasting much much longer than Ernie Ball or D'Adario. They are not as bright either. Full sound, just not tinny like the above mentioned.
