Saw this movie on Sci-Fi one evening and really enjoyed it. The script is good and the actors are convincing in their roles. Amy, played by Christine Taylor, is a woman trying to avoid the past. But when she and her live-in boyfriend Nicholas, played by Shane Brolly, are in an accident her fears of hospitals comes creeping back to the surface. An ambulance comes and takes Nick away and she is not allowed to ride along. Much to her terror and dismay, she can't seem to find which hospital he was taken to. She's not alone in her quest, however. Another man, Jerry O' Connell, also involved in the accident is helping her try to find her boyfriend while he looks for his sister, both of whom disappeared immediately after the accident. And now she's seeing things--horrible demon faces and creepy voices telling her to stop looking for Nick. No one is who they seem and Amy has some childhood fears to confront in this creepy little film.Read full review
“Room 6” opens with one of the scariest scenes I have watched in long while. Christine Taylor is lying on an operating table and realizes that the doctor and nurses are getting ready to operate on her but, she is still awake. I won't tell you what happens next but, it is definitely enough to hook you in. Unfortunately the rest of the film, while decent, isn't enough to top that great opening moment. Jerry O’Connell does his usual average job, which seems to be his lot on a large screen presentation. I think he has better range on television. Still this is a great low budget horror flick and worth checking out.
Room 6 is a movie that should be avoided. This show barley makes it to the B list. Don't get me wrong, the idea (plot) of the show is good, and most of the acting was okay. There is no connection for the viewer to the charters. The viewer is left with many loose ends, little is explained. The special effects are well, hardly special. My heart rate never raced and I didn't jump once. Not much of a scary movie. This movie is more for the rookie horror movie pre-teen. Room 6 really did have potential. Extremely disappointed. However if you are a fan of the low budget horror flicks, then this show is for you.
