All right, this book deserves more than 5 stars! It deserves 10! I absolutely love this book, and I hope that my review will help convince you to read it or like it. This book isn't one of those adventurous historical romance; Romancing Mr. Bridgerton is those Regency romance that events turn out to be quite scandalous or ruinous for the characters. This is the 4th in the beloved Bridgerton family series by Julia Quinn, and I really love this one, in addition to It's In His Kiss (Book #7, worth your time, too!). OKAY, MAYBE A LITTLE BIT OF WARNING^o^: MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, MY REVIEW MAY CONTAIN TOO MUCH INFORMATION, BUT I'M SHARING WHAT I FEEL ABOUT THIS AWESOME BOOK, AND I JUST HAVE TO LET SOME PEOPLE KNOW. AND BESIDES, I'M ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT A BOOK OR MOVIE BEFORE I DECIDE TO BUY/READ/WATCH IT. SO, A FEW OR MORE SPOILERS, SORRY!!^_^ If you have ever read the short description(s) on eBay or from other sellers, you'd know that this is the story of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton. This is an ugly duckling story, and people have always looked down upon Penelope, because of the following reasons: 1) she's plain, 2) she's awkward, 3) and well, she's Penelope Featherington (this is used often in the book). The Prolouge gives details about Penelope's life, but most importantly of all, it tells how she falls in love with Colin. Colin, of course, thinks of Penelope as always the shy girl, and doesn't know how brilliant, witty, and BEAUTIFUL Penelope really is until he starts looking at her in a new way. And he finds she's much more than he ever knew. I love that this book stays true to what it's supposed to be. True, Penelope grows up to be the enchanting and nice woman that she's always been on the inside, but to Colin, he realizes that she's much more than just that (I know this sounds like a repeat of the previous paragraph; sorry!). As always, Julia Quinn's Romancing Mister Bridgerton is full of wit, comedy, and love, let it be couple love or family love. This book is full of what's worth to be Julia Quinn's. I love everything in the book, but like always, even with Julia Quinn, I just wanted more information on everything that happened in the book. Especially when it comes to Penelope and Colin, I want to know every thing he says to her and so forth. (I also love the fact that Penelope loves Colin so much, and she doesn't expect anything in return!) This is my favorite Bridgerton book (save for It's In His Kiss^_^), for it's simply about unexpected love for Colin, and unexpected happiness for Penelope. The characters are very strong and heartwarming, and Colin and Penelope's love for each other is so true. I really adore them, and I really hope that Julia Quinn continues her books with the same magic that is presented in her other books! Thanks for reading this review, I know it's rather long and maybe, just a little bit boring, but I've got to let it be known how wonderful this book is!^_^ Have a nice day!! =DRead full review
Julia Quinn is a great author and I love the Bridgerton series.

I'm a little biased, since I was always a bit partial toward Colin, the 3rd son of the Bridgerton clan, but Penelope is such an awesome character as well. As a regency, Julia Quinn had to create a character who fits the time period, yet is not distasteful for use 21st century readers. here, she does absolutely perfect. Another plus with this novel is that it was not love at first sight, or 2nd even. Colin and Penelope are friends, that become lovers when Colin finally realizes how perfect she is for him. (Penelope had always loved the boy) Of all the Bridgerton books I've read, this is by far my favorite. A must read.
This 8 book series is amazing!
