Soon it will be forty years since the Rolling Stones recorded "Get Yer Ya Yas Out". Away from the more familiar Stones tunes stuff like Chuck Berry's "Carol" and a lesser known Stones song "Stray Cat Blues" is featured on this CD. Mixing these tunes in with "Midnight Rambler" "Sympathy for the Devil" and "Honky Tonk Woman" pushes the CD into the elite class.....great buy and a better listen!
I don't think this is the best live CD I've ever heard, but it's one of the most energetic. On the first couple tracks, it sounds like the soundman could've turned Mick up a little. So the vocals lack slightly, but big deal. It's still the Stones, and they really rock on these live versions of their classics like Jumpin' Jack Flash and Street Fighting Man, and a couple Chuck Berry covers. I think Keith really shines on this CD, especially Sympathy For The Devil, where he really grooves with the rythem section, showing his chops that seem both tasteful and spontaneous. Blues and rock are mixed to the hilt and I definitely recommend this CD to both die-hard Stones and casual fans. Keith really rocks on this one!
I love the Stones' live versions of Chuck Berry's (especially) "Carol" and "Little Queenie"!

If you're a Stones fan then you already know this is probably the best live album they produced. Most songs in the key of A and a basic Chuck Berry type blues pattern. They put their own twist on each song and it is fantastic. Had the vinyl album once upon a time and to hear it on CD is a real treat.
This music CD skips too often so I can not get full listening enjoyment from it.
