Very easy to use recorder with the "ez rec" button. Good FX for guitar, bass, vocals and a welcomed guitar to bass translator. A lot of great features with 4 mic/line inputs and USB recording from computer. LCD screen pretty small for a lot of information but well laid out. Touch sensitive buttons a bit flimsy at times even after adjusting sensitivity. Sub-menus to get to EQ, FX, V-tracks, track Edit, input select etc.. Battery operated and small format makes it a great portable recorder. Bought for more than 50% off the selling price.

Hello, BR-800 is the truth everything it one, except the surface of control not motorisée.0n will appreciate the function EZ REC ( Easy Record) with his proposed styles. The effects are plausible and repair the singer as the guitarist, the maid Reverb and delay, very good patterns of drum kit incorporated. It is also an interface its USB, but we shall estimate especially the recorder 4 simultaneous tracks, the possibility of spreading the capacity memory with a card SD / HC, an effective "masterisation" and without any fuss of quality. A real nomadic studio. Cakewalk Sonar was surrendered with (bundle). The only regret in front of the competition is the need to convert files by means of a software of conversion supplied to work them on a PC in Wave, it is a detail but this day so much .Wave record in succession there.Read full review
Love the BR800! There is a little bit of a learning curve but slowly learning it. I've owned the Br864 and BR900 but usually what breaks down are the hard buttons and they stope operating. I think these soft button will last way longer. It has more features than previous models I will be integrating so in time. Very good deal!

This digital recorder will do WAY more than I will ever need (or figure out how to use for that matter). If you don't have experience with sound recording and mixing, there is a pretty steep learning curve. But once you get the hang of it, at least the simple stuff is...well, simple. Very well made and high performance product.

If you want to do multitrack recording and still have an all-in-one portable system, the BR-800 is for you. You can record up to 4 tracks at a time to do multiple-mic set ups. How about a built-in drum machine? Yes…the BR-800 has that too! With world-class guitar, bass, and vocal effects you can plug in and record directly without the need for any outboard gear! You also get Cakewalk SONAR 8.5 LE software, so you can use your BR-800 as an interface with your computer and turn your 8-track recorder into a 32-track recorder with 64 MIDI tracks, 24 simultaneous effects, and 8 simultaneous virtual instruments. If you travel a lot, and need to get your ideas down quickly while on the road, the battery-operated BR-800 is the perfect companion.
