Brand new- Arrived quickly- Exactly as advertised. Thanks! Easy setup with home wifi network. Works great with Plex Media server, even playing the new HEVC x265 codec flawlessly from my computer to tv over my wireless network! That is saying a lot, because x265 is very hardware intensive. Since it works great with Plex, I am sure it will handle Kodi well also. Of course, it is a no brainer purchase for Netflix.

This device won't use screen mirroring like the Telstra TV version of this brand name. The third party apps you can install will only play whatever you have downloaded on your phone. The streaming options available on the device aren't really meant for Australia (UK or US) and to be honest I would not have paid as much had I known what type of content was available. If you want to play the paid for tv options then this works great. However I wanted to watch free to air on this device and sadly only channel 10 will work with the right third party app. Ultimately my advice is if you want a Telstra TV box spend the money and get one. If you want international unheard of channels or you want to play music then this will do what you want. The device itself does work well but the software is lacking compared to the other branded counterpart.Read full review

The Roku Express was NOT easy to set up, in fact it took me most of the afternoon. What a headache, but once it was set up, it worked fine. We find the user interface, (the menus and various screens), to be complicated, and the number of choices is mind boggling; not a necessarily a good thing when you are just starting out. Be forewarned, there are no instructions included with the Roku, besides where to plug in the wires. The rest of it you'll have to figure out by trial and error. It is frustrating at first. On the plus side, the advertising is true, that there are thousands of channels, movies, and shows that you can watch. Some you have to pay to watch, but many (most?) are free. We are still trying to get our head around all the possibilities. So if your current selection of what you can watch is limited, Roku is a viable solution, (especially at $29 for the Express model). From what I've read, Roku is the best, so go with it. It does work; just be aware that setup may not be quite as easy as they say.Read full review

I kept reading how this was easy to install and use, but when I got it, it really was. I have had no problem with it at all. In fact, I think it is the easiest electronic item I have had for the last 5 years. Not big on the offers, but I like specific channels, not just all kinds of shows and series.
