I enjoy this book a lot, but I feel like I need to be a better cook to use a lot of the recipes! They are complicated, but there is a rating system of how easy/difficult certain recipes are which makes it simpler to sort out what I can and can't do. I enjoy Rocco DiSpirto, and used to listen to his radio show with his mother and liked seeing him on Top Chef, so buying this book was a great purchase. I would not recommend this book for amateur cooks, or people who want to cook easy, simple comfort foods!
I only recently discovered Rocco Dispirito on ION Life channel and immediately wanted more. First recipe I plan to make is the Lemongrass Lobster Salad and Miso Chicken. The recipes are more than ingredients, they include steps to coach maximum flavor into your dish. Makes me want to search for more James Beard award winning cookbooks.

This is a great recipe book for the chef that wants to include everything in his meals. The recipes are fairly easy, and the ingredient list is just the right amount of "unusual" and still available at most local grocery stores. A+ cook book!
