I read this book after my daughter brought it home from a "World Changers" class in college. Briner encourages Christians of all ages and professions to get involved and make a difference in the world. Boycotts won't work, but committed Christians willing to ROAR for Christ in our everyday lives can reveal His light to the lost and make a difference in our society! Briner points out that we as Christians need to support our young people, no matter what profession they enter (not just those entering "the ministry"), to be vocal about their faith in order to shape the culture. Briner issues a challenge for each of us to get out of our comfort zone and make some noise!
I am a professional actress, and a Christian. Two years ago when our church did the "40 Days of Purpose" our group leader gave me this book. It encourages Christians not to just gripe about secular movies, television etc but to get out and do something about it. He encourages Christians to participate in the arts. I bought this book as a gift. It is the second one I've bought to give away to actors I've been working with. It is an excellent book.
