I live off the grid. 100% solar power/battery. I use an inverter to convert 12 volts to 120 volt. I'm also a ham radio operator and had a significant amount of RFI on my HF radio. I used these RFI filters on my electrical cords plugged into the inverter and all RFI is gone in my radio. In the beginning, I only had 1 cord plugged into one outlet. I did not realize that the other free outlet was still giving off an RFI noise. Today, I decided to use an extension cord to charge several AA batteries for my flashlights. And as soon as I plugged it in, I noticed i had less noise In my ham radio, which was on. So i broke out another RFI filter and wrapped one turn of extension cord in the filter. I have no noise now coming out of the inverter. Well worth the money for all your needs. I'll grab another bag of these soon.Read full review

Easy to clamp on. There are plenty of different sizes for different wires. Worked on my ipod cable which was giving me rfi noise through my stereo in my rv. I clamped it on about an inch from the end & the noise was gone.

The filter eliminated 60 hz hum in my FM low power transmitter. I used one of the ferrites on the DC power input line. I put the ferrite close to the TX. It solved my problem so it was a good value. The only downside is that the latch does not work well. A tyewrap solved it.

Bought these to remove static from my TV and radio from my LED lights. They didn't do a thing. They might work for a different use but big waste of money and time for me.

Good wire size assortment. Fixed my feedback on my transmitter completely. However, it did require three of the chokes inline to eleminate it.
