The model went together perfectly. Unfortunately, the decals were old and the longest ones came apart. Oh well, can't have everything perfect all the time! A nice model! Glad it was 1/72 scale: I can't imagine how big it would have been in 1/48! The drone was a nice addition to the kit! I had never even heard of it before this kit, and I was in this industry for 35 years!

Aside from this comments irrelevant questions about a model plane, thee model was relatively easy to assemble and looks pretty good for it's size. Like many airplane models it suffers if you want the landing gear doors shut. That required some filler and saanding.to almost look right. The tail section is also a little difficult to fit and regardless of how I shaved it down, there was a visible crack between thee tail cone and the upper body. This also required filling and sanding. The windows are small, so masking them before painting required liquid masking and extra care. It's the little finishing touches that make all the difference and make the job worthwhile too.

A 1/72 scale plastic model kit of the U.S. spy plane. Not better, not worse that any kit of the same era. Requires patience to build but will make a wonderful display piece when finished. Paint, plastic cement, hobby knife and sanding media are required to finish it.

It was a superfast & easy build. A big kit when completed for a 1/72 scale. 18-1/2" long. About 4 hrs in total. Good for beginners too, but I did manage to break the windscreen when I was clipping it from the sprue. So watch out for that. Take a look at the pics. I managed too save it though-the glass is just so small. I didn't even have to detail the interior. I just gave it a quick spray of cock-pit green & sealed her up. No one can see inside anyway. The decals were barely usable so I used them. But an after market set would've looked better in my opinion. There was a slight white shadow line on all of the "no step" lines that covered the whole top of the plane. I was impatient to finish so I went with em anyway. In the end It made for a nice looking Black Bird. At only $15 invested I'm quite happy with it. I hope this review was helpful.Read full review
