My wife loved ours so much that we bought this one as a gift. This is not our first Third Day CD, by far. They rock, and it's amazing that they continually say things that God uses to wake me up. Listening to their music, I find myself saying, "yes, I've been there, brother". And I go off into my day with beautiful, Godly, enriching praise in my heart and on my tongue. Their CDs feature a mix of serious rock and smooth, melodious praise, both of which you will find yourself singing along with. And singing by yourself afterward. We just wore out this CD, but we haven't quit listening yet. Of course we haven't quit listening to their first CD yet, either. I salute the members, families, and support group of Third Day for staying faithful to God and passing on the music He instills in them. If you're a Christian, you need them. And if you're not, you need them more. Rock on!Read full review
I 1st heard their falg song for the album 'Revelation' on a Christian radio station while driving in my car; I absolutely loved it! So I went online & listen to 30 second samples of each song; I liked some but wasn’t sure if I’d like the whole album. Then I heard songs like ‘Slow Down’, ‘Run To You’& ‘This Is Who I Am’ during interludes in the contemporary evening service at my church. It was during 1 of these sessions I was convinced that I’d love the whole thing & I had to add it to my CD collection. I’ve had the album for about a week now & guess what… I wasn’t disappointed. I’ve listened to it probably 10 times already! I like the deep, soul searching that is present in the lyrics. The way that they are written in the songs 'Call My Name’, ‘Let Me Love You’, ‘I Will Always Be True’ & ‘Give Love’ is from a God-like point of view. These songs spoke to me in a way that said, “This is what God desires to do when you call (look) on Him!” On the same note, I also liked that some of the songs I just mentioned can be interpreted as God, friends or loved -ones speaking. I found this to be very refreshing. Honestly I wasn’t all that into Third Day until ‘Revelation’ & now I’m having a revelation of my own! I’m going to take a closer look at Third Day’s previous releases & I look forward to their next one! 5 out of 5 stars, 2 thumbs up!Read full review
This is another great album by the band. The Christian rock music band was able to produce wonderful music again and leading people to worship while listening. There are 13 songs in this album. See list below. The band has reached new height and new energy were felt, some due to the new producer Howard Benson who has done amazing things for other records in the past. Of course, most of Third Day's album are pretty nice to listen to it over and over again. If you like Christian rock, Third Day is your top choice to listen to. 1. This Is Who I Am 2. Slow Down 3. Call My Name 4. Run To You 5. Revelation 6. Otherside 7. Let Me Love You 8. I Will Always Be True 9. Born Again 10. Give Love 11. Caught Up In Yourself 12. Ready 13. Take It All
This cd has to be one of my all-time favorites across all genre and considering all artists. Third Day is dynamic, there sound is unique, rythm is awesome on all tracks (WHOA!), lyrics are moving and encourage you to sing along but also explore/expand/embrace Christ. Truly I bought the CD for the song "Call My Name" but there isn't one song on the disc that I don't like. That's a first! So don't miss this release from one of Christian music's #1 rock band. Thank you Third Day!
Definately one of the best that "Third Day" has to offer. Incredible songs, incredible music, incredibly meaningful🕊️
