The name brand ink cartridges are of better quality than the genetic ones. The price was excellent for two also.

Ink cartridges leaked into package before opening. The only good cartridge ran out of ink after printing 25 pgs. not 200 as advertised. Printer barely recognizes the compatible cartridge showing error message for every job. Buy orginal from store dont waste your money on recycled cartridges or buy them from another seller.

Message to Canon: Installed new Black PG210 Ink Cartridge when I received a message that the black ink was low. I can't get your software to reset & recognize the new black cartridge. It still says the black ink is low. I go to your manual and can't find anything about how to let your software know a new ink cartridge has been installed. Come on people, this is frustrating. It prints, but I can't clear the message and that is not right! If you are going to aggrivate the customer, I'll make sure not to get a Canon Printer next time around! Is that what you want? Give the customer a little credit & good tools to resolve this type of issue. I should not have to be sending you this message. This problem would already have been resolved. Okay Canon, what do you have to say for yourself? Ticked off ... Canon's Response ... I am sorry to hear that your MP280 is not recognizing the new black ink tank being installed. Usually when it does not recognize the new ink tank being installed is because either the original ink tank that you replaced was simply low and not out. Meaning that the ink tank still had ink left in it. The printer and inks have an ink counter that lets the printer know how much ink is left in it. Therefore if replaced prematurely then yes it is still reading the ink level of the old ink tank. The other reason is that it will not detect the new ink tank is if you are using third party ink tank in place of the Canon ink tank. There is a chip on the ink tank that lets the printer know when a new ink tank is replaced. You can try to press and hold the STOP Button for ten seconds to see if that will work. If not then kindly respond back to this email for further instructions. As you can see, it could be an Ink Cartridge problem or a Canon Printer software problem, but the bottom line is a headache for the customer. Eventually I will get this matter resolved. But for what it is worth, my Kodak ESP3250 printer is working fine and accepts all Ebay's Cartridge refills 10B & 10C. So if you have a Canon MP280 you may want to switch over to a Kodak printer. How do you like them apples Canon ?Read full review
i purchased from this ebayer because the product was readily avilable, and was a "Buy Now" i didn't want to wait for the auction to end. the price was decent, and the service was decent, but i found the checkout system that this ebayer uses is a lot of work. this is the second time i've purchased from him, and had i realized it the second time i bought, that it was the same ebayer, i probably would not have made the purchase. i know it sounds kind of petty, because it's just a lot of extra clicks of the mouse, but I found it annoying. I wrote to the ebayer and commented, and he said he was working on it, but this system worked best with his system, and hopefully, when i order again,he'll have his issue resolved. in summary, service was good, price was good, ebayer is more concerned with his computer system then his customers.Read full review
The cartridge works well. It is cheap and shipped in a decent, protective package. It cost me about half of what I would pay in a store, so it's a BARGAIN. The only potential problem I see is that it doesn't show in the printer window how much ink is left. In fact from the very beginning it says that the ink is low. Sure there is a sticker on the package saying that you should ignore this, and that is true as long as ink remains in the cartridge. Running out of ink may potentially be an unpleasant surprise, though, because you'll have no idea when that happens. I think that the best solution is to make sure you have the next ink cartridge handy at all times, so that should you run out, you already have your replacement available and can continue whatever you are working on.
