I have searched long and hard for this collection of Ray Price's early work. I was delighted to find and win it on e-bay. The music ir apparently remastered, as it is clear and of fine quality. The only thing I can find fault with on the recordings is the some of the CDs have the same song, from the same recording year, 2 and 3 times. I would rather the producers added some other songs. All in all, it is a great collection for Ray Price fans, and I would strongly recommend it.
I don't have the cd yet (HT Years). I bought it for the early Ray Price: songs like "You're Under Arrest" and "Cold Shoulder" and "I Loved You So Much I Let You Go," songs like that. They came out in that period after Hank W died. And Ray's voice is as natural as the weather. "What If He Don't Love You Like I Do." "I Could Love You More." Those years, when the steel held the tune and the fiddle, too. So I look forward to it. (I love the music of that time, say from 1950 to 1954. SS
