I upgraded my 30-06 pump 7600, only banged out 2 fills in clip, Very nice. Now 3 boxes is 6 funtastic fills. Training is finding the mark aim fire. REPEAT. Training is all about repetitive motion. THIS CLIP ALLOWS for great training. Sure rugular clip be fine then add another clip to get to ten. You only gunna get 2-3 shots before you don't get another try. Proper time spent training equals Reps. I practice moving reload aim fire. Do a few sets then check my work. Big set equals a better set. Way fun just a Kool bonus

This magazine did not feed whatsoever. Tried 3 different types of bullet with a 30.06 round. All same...does not feed. Was unable to return before the short deadline. I'm stuck with a useless hunk of metal.

Most of the 10 round magazines that I've tried for my Remington 760 didn't feed worth crap. This one works fine and even feeds the very long GI .30 ball rounds. The lock up is reasonably tight and sits high enough in the magazine well for the bullet tip to feed into the chamber. The magazine body has the all important front tab large enough to firmly lock the front of the magazine into the magazine well of the 760. Other magazines I've tried are essentially smooth on the front and do not sit at the proper position to permit pointed tip rounds to feed into the chamber. Overall construction is solid except the floorplate which looks like an afterthought. The floorplate has sharp edges and is secured with some sketchy looking spot welds. I wonder if these magazines were made from incomplete magazine shells with the floorplate added later to finish them off? I imagine it will be durable enough to survive the zombie apocalypse and even being dropped on a hard surface. The magazine shell is stout and the follower well formed. The follower spring pressure is even and keeps the rounds presented properly to the bolt face when the action is cycled Mine seem to feed best loaded to 8 or 9 rounds, your experience may be different. I found best feeding to be when the action is worked with authority. I like the magazine I received enough to buy another!Read full review

With a little work, the magazine did fit into my Remington model 7400 but would not properly feed. It would hang up and get stuck between the clip and the chamber. I know that model of rifle has a reputation of hanging up but in the 25 years of ownership, it has never hung up before.I tried it in my older model 742 and had a little better result, but it still wouldn't feed all of the bullets properly.

The original has a square hole to latch into. The replacement has an embossed square. The latch does not satisfactorily engage the magazine to lock it in. Had to cut the square hole in, like the original. Also the feed lips had to be slightly bent to allow the bolt to pass by.
