I enjoyed that is was a primary book and started from the beginning of diet , foods and serving sizes. It clearing covered the current and new food pyramid, recipes are calibrated for serving size with fat, cal, sat. fat, and other nutritional information. Each catagory has anywhere from 6-13 reciepes per .The recipes are easy , and items are available at the local store. I found this book with big pictures a great started book for diet and reduction in fats. Not all reciepes were low in fat as I would expect .But over all book was good for the beginner diet person.
The book more than met my expectations. Great way to eat and stay healthy.
