I have 3 of this exact model and brand. They are harder to find now so I have two spares. I have used the recorder almost everyday for 3 years. I record voice messages to send via e-mail overseas. There is a little bit of an install onto your computer but the directions are very easy to understand. A recordings have a .VOC extension which looks odd but I have never had a issue with my Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 sending out or playing said recording. I did not need a conversion install of any kind. There is a feature called "Folder". This allows me to make recordings to 10 different people throughout the day at different times allowing me to back and forth between Folders when I choose. Good recording pick up from as much as 10 feet away. And excellent voice pickup from 2 feet away or closer. Size- narrower than a flip phone.Read full review
