Great little low budget stereo Headphone amp and or for running small full range single driver loudspeakers like the popular JVC cube bookshelf models or Fostex fullrange models, as long as you are happy with low volume levels around 88 dB or so. Good internet radio set up with tablet thats how I use it.

This compact amp is just what I needed for my test bench to do a quick test of various audio products that I need to evaluate. I like that it takes little room but has the versatility I need. It is not a powerhouse amp but the couple watts output with a pair of compact KLH speakers I also found on ebay more than fill a large room and the whole package has me smiling from ear to ear. And it takes little space on a already crowded bench. Glad I found it.

As long as you understand that this is a low watt amp and you use with the a good pair of speakers you should really get lots of enjoyment from it. These are perfect for those who have very limited space but enjoy good music. Try using a pair of small but good quality speakers and a CD player or turntable and you will not regret this purchase.

The Radio Shack SA 155 amplifier is one of the first of the "mini" sized amplifiers. Putting out only 2.8 watts per channel, it is an excellent amplifier to use as an amplifier for a computer sound system using small speakers. I am using a pair of Optimus X7 mini speakers and they are a perfect match. The real advantage of the SA-155 is the fact that it has a phono input and two line inputs, plus a tape out jack. This will allow the user to use this amplifier as a preamp combined with a new T amp rated at 20 or more watts per channel. Most T amps only have one input and combining the units can give you a very nice system that can also work with a turntable and tuner.
It's a great amplifier especially for the price. The phono input didn't work but I just used another input and it works great.
