I love Quilt Books for Kids or some you came revise, they make me smile. I have 3 grandsons 7,6,6mos. I like to make and give to childrens hospital and raffle off to raise money for Bikers for Babies and The Breast Cancer Society, before I leave this world I would like to give back to those who helped , and son, daughter and myself. I am a 5yr.breast cancer survivor. If you ever have been to nicu unit at a Children's Hospital and meet with other parents or grandparents you would be amazed how much a simple quilt means and thank God for your blessings which he has gotten me through. I don't have much and my hands aren't in the best of working but when you need something to hold on to and get you trough the day I promise no one looks a the stitches or if corners meet. When you live 2 hrs. from a fabric store and can't drive it's people like you that I thank and of course the authors. Bless you and keep up the good work. THANK'S JayeRead full review
The directions are very easy to understand. They tell you step by step how to cut, sew and put together. My grandchildren are thrilled with all the patterns. There was one for each of them (8). That was what made me decide to buy it. It has such a variety even up to the teens.
I decided to buy it because I like some of her (pam Bono)other books. I was a little disappointed in that I couldnt see any of the pictures inside the book before purchasing it.Otherwise it has a lot of great patterns in it.
11 quilt patterns that are easy to follow. However, these quilts are not designed for a beginner. Well written. Very clear instructions. Pictures are excellent.
Patterns are easy to understand and look easy to do! Can't wait to start--and I already have fiqured out a few modifications for my personal preferences.
