The reel has been through about 200 catches(drop shot/shakeyhead), most 1.5 to 3 lb. bass. Several were of the larger variety(4,5,6 lb.). It has performed well. Only thing I would change would be the gear ratio(higher).

I bought two of these. I spooled mono on one and 20lb braid on the other. Both reels worked great. I have different rod/reel combinations for different types of fishing. I will buy more of these because of smaller size, less weight, and ease of use.

At first glance reel is very sharp looking and looks to be of very good quality. Does retrieve smoothly. My only problem is after casting the bail doesnt want to close. I have a hard time getting it to close. I asked a person at a sporting goods shop about it and they said they thought it needs an adjustment made. But said that it needs to be sent in to a repair center. Well i havent sent it in and i continue to use the reel. It seems aggravating to me to buy a new reel and it dont work like its suppose to. But i will maybe try to figure out how to adjust it myself or check online.

I'm partial to baitcasters but this real size 20 on my light spinning rod it's changed my mind about spinning reels first Catch 4lb Bass with it handled him like it was a baitcaster unbelievably smooth

This rivals some $100-200 dollar reels. I purchased the 20 size for smallmouth and this is literally amazing for the money. I've never been more happy with a purchase.
