This TV has many design problems such as the stand don't tilt as it is rigid. The picture is bad from top, bottom and sides without tilt. Connectors are in the back in a hole and parallel to the display. The only way to connect to it is to put it on its face and come down from the top. Some VGA cables are almost larger than the hole slot. The picture on isn't great for a TV or a computer monitor. I won't purchase another Proscan monitor/tv.

I was using 2 TV's . 1 for the picture- Color on my TV was faded. I was using a mini TV for the sound, because my other TV had no sound. I bought the Proscan TV because of the price and because of the features. I wanted a combo TV/DVD - and I wanted a headphone jack and I wanted to connect my Rocku player to my TV. Proscan TV does it all. Also the Proscan TV weighs so much less than my old tube tv. I like that a lot. I can easily pick it up- a plus in my book. If you need a new or another tv and you need to watch your pennies- I do recommend the Proscan TV. Now remember it is 19 inches- So if you want a bigger TV Screen- I do not now if Proscan makes them larger than 19 inches. Ok- that's it.
The set came without a set to wall cable and a 12 volt power cable. That necessitated a shopping trip to Radio Shack of 35 miles to get both. All extra time and expense. This fact should have been included in the listing. The fact that it was made in China was not disclosed. Whenever possible I buy U.S. products. The owners manual is vague on some points. Evidently customer service is in China. I had a problem which turned out to be my RV's antenna. However, I called CS and got a rapid speaking lady. I'm 74 and have a high frequency hearing loss. I told her my problem and repeatedly and politely asked her to slow down and speak louder. Finally I asked to speak with a man whose deeper voice I may understand. At that point she hung up on me. My wife, who has normal hearing, tried a day or two later. She got CS man who she couldn't understand either. I finally paid a local technician to find and fix the problem.Read full review
