Am happy with this stock. It is slightly heavier than a wood Barracuda stock but the adjustability of the cheek piece and the butt end make up for it. I did have to grind out the magazine relief as the magazine was binding. Used my wife's lipstick on the magazine, inserted it, and ground out where it was binding with a dremel. I also had to cut the bottom of the stock as I use a trimag. Placed a single magazine in the receiver, scribed a line on the bottom of the receiver magazine junction and ground a 45 degree bevel. Cut the front and back side with a hack saw blade. Put the trimag in then with the lipstick to see where it touched and ground it until it didn't bind. Works perfect now. Would have been five stars if I didn't have to fit the magazine. Would buy again. Don't tell my wife.

So first, the modifications to expect: When you test fit your receiver and especially the magazine, be prepared for it to not fit....way too tight. You will need a dremel, a rasp or file and perhaps some sandpaper to remove casting flash from where the receiver fits. Even after removing the casting flash it's going to be very, very tight. The mag just won't fit, especially toward the rear of the stock. Be prepared to file. My barrel channel was slightly tighter on one side than the other but check it. You don't want adverse pressure on one side. Now, all that being said, once I got everything fit, I love the stock. It's adjustable, it looks great, has a built in lower rail and a good grip. I will probably add some grip tape since there are no serrations molded in from the factory. Some work required, but worth the work. 3 stars because it's not perfect from the factory.Read full review

Very well made. Installation instructions and online video were very useful. Only comment would be that adjusting may be difficult for the younger shooter (turning the adjustment dials can be a little difficult). But once the adjustments are complete and set up for the shooter, it is a great stock

I like the look and feel of this stock. Original 10/22 stocks seem to be sized for children, so having a stock to fit me as an adult is what I wanted. I'm 6', and the length of pull on this stock when fully extended is just about right for me. I really like the adjustable comb, so when my cheek rests on it, I'm looking right into the scope. I read that some people had to file parts down to get this stock to fit their action, and I didn't have that at all. The only problem I had was after putting the action with the new parts into the new stock, the enhanced bolt release (i.e. release the bolt without touching the bolt release) quit working. I had to go back to using the bolt release button. After disassembling/assembling everything again, I tracked it down to the magazine release that came with this stock. When I reinstalled my old magazine release, the enhanced bolt release worked again. I have not shot this yet, but I really like the feel of it.Read full review

This makes a great stock for the Ruger 10/22. The Adjustable cheek rest and stock length are excellent. My only complaint is that it is not a "drop in" fit. I spent an hour with a dremel tool relieving material to accomplish a fit. Very Frustrating. None-the-less I love this stock. I wish I had one on my Remington 700 STS instead of the HS Precision, which weighs a ton and is as ugly as a smashed cow pie
