It has it down falls but it gets the job done my son is a sophomore in symphonic band and it has a few quirks but he is able to make it tune easily some of the keys and valves got stuck and had to be fixed.

This horn sounds amazing! I recommend immediately using rotor oil on the valves and greasing the threads on the bell to make it last but it sounds really good and it’s great especially for the price. 10/10 would recommend!

I am a professional horn player, with several orchestras, and I got this horn to see what it would be like. My go-to horn is a custom Conn 8D, which IS a professional horn, and the Opus is not even close. The response is miserable, the intonation between even just a few mid-staff notes are horrible, and the valves are complete garbage. And to top everything off, this horn is so heavy it physically hurts to play on for long periods of time. If you want a cheap, good horn, put $500 towards a decent Conn 6D. Besides, a good pro horn won’t be any less than $4000.
