A beautiful film about love and reality. Although to an extent the film does make men seem like arrogant individuals only out for themselves, it also at the same times has an underlying sense of reality. It gets to the point where you seem torn in your emotions on who do you sympathise for, the woman who wants children, but has a husband who sneaks behind her back and has an operation whereby he can't have kids, or the husband who truly loves his wife and doesn't want children but whose wife ends up cheating on him with a woman. You begin to ask yourself does he deserve it and is it ok for her after all that she's been through. A different take on the lesbian genre, which works in so many ways. A subtle romantic story about love and friendship and everything in between. A must see!
