After market Taurus PY22 Magazine
I tried this magazine in three different weapons. While I did not fire any rounds the magazine did appears as if it would work. This magazine will not work in the Poly model PT22. It is well constructed but it seems very tight and is difficult to extract from the weapon because it does not have the extended base plate (original from Taurus does) My wife has arthritis and for her it was very difficult to eject. I had to return the ProMag and ordered one directly from Taurus for less than $5.00 more including the shipping. The OEM mag from Taurus pops in and out with no problems. Not as reliable as factory mags
Doesn't feed reliably. Just the nature of the beast. Taurus's design for these PT22 pistols necessitates a narrower magazine that what you'd see in a S&W, Ruger or even a Bersa .22. The shells just don't slide up inside the tube reliably and tend to level out, stick and feed into the chamber with the point of the bullet lower than it should be, so it jambs up. The Taurus P22 would be a better pistol with a redesigned magazine - just a tad bit wider, I think. With the wide grip on the PT22, a wider magazine shouldn't be a problem. But ProMag should be able to make a magazine that feeds at least as well as the factory magazine and it doesn't.Doesn't feed reliably. Just the nature of the beast. magazines wont fit
i receive my magazines today I put one in my gun and tried to cycle it and couldn't pull it back locked gun up so I tried the other one and same thing happened not sure if magazine are to tall or the half moon hole at the back of bullet is to narrow or not deep enough all I know magazines will not work

Seems to be well-made but...
When loaded with the full 8 cartridges for some reason does not feed as reliably as the factory magazine, even when using quality ammo that is specifically recommended for semi-autos. So that limits its usefulness but price is right.
