been a gunsmith for 57 years and these mags are as good as any, probley if you are having problems with one you must rember the .303 mag was factory fit and chained to the triger guard. so a little fitting has to be done to factory mags sometimes.

I've tried to use this in my Savage 4 MK1 and it feeds very unreliably. Generally I can get through 4-6 rounds, after that it begins to misfeed. Sometimes I can't even load a full ten. After fighting with it for a while, I tried prepping the mag by bending the tabs to help it out but this doesn't seem to do much. Also, I'm not crazy about the bottom plate - it comes off very easily. Overall, I guess I wish I purchased another vintage mag. The original one that came with my rifle still works great.

Ordered one of these to have as a temp. Mag until I found a good one. Should have just waited. This product is trash! I don't even know where to begin. Does not look good, does not fit correctly, does not feed at all. I could not even close the bolt on the rifle. This applies to all No4's. Including R.O.F, R.O.M, BSA Shirley and Savage made Enfields. To all Enfield owners: Stay as far away from anything Pro Mag as possible! Junk! Trash! Garbage! They should literally discontinue production!

I can't tell if it's poor design or poor manufacturing but when I tried to load the magazine for the first time, I knew there was a problem when the first round kept popping out of the magazine and would not stay in it long enough to load a second round. I litteraly had to hold the rounds in the magazine with one hand while I tried to load another round. Once loaded it failed to consistently feed rounds in to the chamber. I feel like I wasted my money.

Well, I have an Americanized Sporter so this magazine will not fit unless I spend some money converting it back into a WWll No lV Mk l but I didn’t knot that, but it’s not this vendors fault. Good/great magazine but it won’t fit the Americanized post WWll .303 Enfield. Many were converted I’m told, but who’s to know if one doesn’t research first. Oh well?
