Help, I have Diabetes type 2, and was in my late fifties when discovered...Yes, it has been energy depleting, dificult to lose weight, gain energy, and feel good! Prevention;s "The Sugar Solution" edited by Sarah Harrar, caught my attention by a A+ seller,at $1.00 + postage media rate. It is a book that stresses natural cures,the obvious take and get regular blood sugar readings,get them as a prediabetic woman, and after it all, get more uninterrupted sleep on a regular basis. I feel better after resting, waking up now after 7 hrs. sleep, and of course following up with regular exercise and medical tests. This book is readable,"you won't put it down." It is being offered on ebay at a very reasonable opening bid, postage free offered free by some sellers. GET IT AND LIVE!

Great diet book which helped cure my sugar addition.
This was a good book to add to my collection of diet books......a great diet plan to help curb my appetite for sugar, and it actually helped me to lose weight, and also helped me to feel healthier! In the book, you will find, not only, the basis of the diet, but a 4-week memu plan, plus recipes. I would recommend this book for anyone who has a blood-sugar imbalance or would like to stop food cravings. (You are allowed 6 meals a day!)

easy read
some good information. Book written for women and being male was not for me. Purchased book as my blood sugar is above recommended limits and I am interested in ways to lower my blood sugar. As this book is primarily for women I found I needed to skip over a lot of the information. There is a new similar book released this year by Dr. Mark Hyman that may be more relevant to both sexes

Prevention's the Sugar Solution
The Prevention people have rung the bell once again. They are supplying us with lots of information on the how's and why's of using sugar in our diet and the ramifications it has on our bodies. Great information and great reading. I suggest this book to any person who is looking for the how to on metabolizing sugar and how to balance sugar into your diet.
