Read some reviews, and looked over my options for a crossover. My options were the PCC090X which has only 2 pulley placements or spend $1,000 more for an adjustable crossover with static weights..It wasn't worth the extra money for me. I like NOT having the weights as it makes it a bear to move. I thought I was making a sacrifice by not having the adjustable pulleys, but I don't miss them, it doesn't limit my workouts. In the end, this is just some heavy metal, with pulleys and there is no reason to spend thousands on a crossover unless it's in a commercial setting where some bros will be abusing it. It's sturdy, heavy, everything lines up and it looks clean. I think the most I've had on it for weight was 200 for lat pull downs and it worked great. It uses plastic bushings so you need to silicone the vertical rails. I plan on bolting it down too.Read full review

The machine is strong and durable. However, the packaging is questionable. Two of the three boxes barely survived the travel. One box arrived opened already with the metal sticking out of the box. It did not affect the build and all the parts were there but a day or two longer and I don’t think this would be complete.

This is a great cable crossover for the price. The assembly was not especially difficult, but it helps to have 2 people for the part where you attach the top bar to the posts and set it upright. The instructions were reasonably clear. Nice that they sent touch up paint for future mishaps and lubricant spray for the posts. The thing is really smooth in its operation and totally quiet. Some people were saying it is not as good as a selectorized machine, but if you need to move a cable crossover with 2 weight stacks, good luck with that. This machine is 112 inches wide, but the footprint is small since it has so much open space. You can pull the weights from either the top or bottom pulleys. The machine is completely stable for us, but we are not lifting huge amounts of weight. We don't really miss the ability to pull the cables from the middle. That would be a nice feature, but for the price, it would be hard to find something else of this quality for sale at this time.Read full review

good quality, I wasn't really surprised, I've been in and out of gym's for 20 yrs. and Body Solid equipment has been in every one of the gym's I've been in, but you must read the directions carefully [ yes they're very easy to follow] but I got jumpy and thought I could slap it together just by looking at the diagram [WRONG] do what it says and don't tighten any bolts until you get the cable through the pulley system, one turn of the nut on the bolts will be fine until cables are on then tighten them all up. be very careful in the beginning if you're not familiar with this type of machine, if there's any way you can attach it to a wall or put extensions [cheap] on the feet for better stability, so machine won't tip over if you get out of hand with heavy weight

I read mixed reviews, from various places, but decided to give it a shot. I've had this product for 4 months now and it has been incredible! It was easy to assemble (well, took about 1.5 hours with 1 person, so simple enough) and has been rock solid with all my workouts. I have done lat pulldowns, rows, low and high cable flyes, etc. I've had a max weight of 300lbs on one side and it never flinched. Pulley system has been very smooth and never felt rough (side note: they did send treadmill belt spray to grease the polls, which I did use). The only caution is when doing cable flyes, I have to put all the weight on the 'back side' of the pegs and pull towards the 'front side' or the machine will rock/tip. Solid machine, great price, recommend to anyone!
