Whatever you do..!! Do not wire these subs down to 1 ohm. Unless you have a 800w or 1000w that can take 1 ohm.. Any more power than that you will smoke these subs. If you run them at 4 ohm they will do ok, And give you entry level sound. You wire them down, say bye bye to your investment. Ex. I wired both to 1 ohm on a 1 ohm stable 3.5 stetsom amp.. Had the gain alil over half way and smoked them in 30 min.. Be wise hope this helps (Love)

This subwoofer is an amazing product. I have it hooked up to a kicker 1200 watt amp and it pushes it very well. I am using a sealed q logic contour box in a 97 Dodge Ram truck and with the 2 farad cap it really hits hard! The magnet on the sub is very beefy and the all aluminum spider that holds the sub is solid. I would highly recommend this sub to anyone looking for a great value. No need in spending big bucks on a "name brand" one. I have only had it in for a couple of weeks, so if something changes I may have to update this review, but for now I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase!!

I would most definitely recommend this subwoofer to anyone who wants very good, clean, crisp bass. I will probably be getting two more of these very soon.

I have 2 of these in a 4.4 ft3 box tuned to 25hz. Both subs in common airspace with a roughly 2"x10" shelf vent. Subs are wired parallel for a 1 ohm load and the subsonic filter on my 1000w rms Memphis amp is at 25hz. (You should never run a sub in a vented box at high power without a subsonic filter set to the box tuning frequency!) These subs are tremendous with 1000w and sound good. I have separate component polk 5 1/4" in front and jbl 6"x9" in the rear with a real 75w rms to each speaker and the subs are capable of swamping the mids/highs and still sound good doing it at 1000w, way below their rated rms power of 1500 each. I am more into SQ than SPL although both is awesome and I have to back off the sub level to make things sound balanced. I got a deal on these used but think they are worth every cent of what they cost new. Re-cone kits are available for these although I don't know how you would kill one other than abuse/ignorance. Full specs and recomended box's are on the Power Acoustik web site.Read full review
