This is an interesting but ultimately frustrating DVD release. The opera itself is produced as if it were a film - it was filmed on location (inside a car, inside the hotel) rather than on a stage before a live audience. I found this to hold my interest quite well. Unfortunately, there are no subtitles on this release. The first scene with a soprano and tenor were fine, but when the second soprano came into the second scene, I could no longer understand what was being sung because both sopranos were singing simultaneously. I gave up at this point.
