Honestly I have been using nothing but blue for my entire career. For the stuff I do here on the farm and in my small hobby/ makeshift shop it works excellent. i just did a 3 pass weld on a 3/8" Tube steel bumper for the spare tire on a jeep wrangler, arc is smooth easy to strike and has excellent flow. good penetration and clean consistent weld.

Picked this up to really learn how to weld. I had a year of weekend warrior time on a Harbor Freight flux core welder. Wasn't happy with it so did a lot of research and this is the best thing I could find. I've had it for about a month and it's awesome. I am working on setting up 220v in the garage so it's all been 110v so far. I don't k ow when I'll need the 220v to be honest. On 110v if I don't pay attention I can burn through 1/4 plate no problem lol. I've also set it up with the tig setup also. It works great, but I'm waiting to get a little stick time before I try and learn tig. If you're on the fence, buy it. Great machine, awesome price.

After just 3 months the motherboard was totally burned out around the Negative plug.
