The TSI200 offers a lot of flexibility with placement in one's sound system. They can be used with a simple stereo setup to mains in a surround system or even surround speakers. The sound quality is an upgrade from the TSI100's with more bass and midrange offering a more rich and fuller sound. These are highly recommended for any configuration!

My actual rating to be precise is between Excellent and good. These is phenomenal and goof looking pair of front satellite speakers with highs that are crystal clear as are the mids, better than many other speakers in the same price range. In a mome theatre 7.1 environment, the audio imaging and spectrum response is excellent. One also needs to use 12 AWG gage wiring to truely relise their full potential!!!
I have a center channel csia6 plus 5 psi111 subs, and 8 tsi200 bookshelf speakers. My a v r is a yamaha rxa2050 with far more power then we need! We have 2 Yamaha m-70 power amps just sitting here. I’ve owned lots of speakers in my lifetime but these sound good plus they are easy to drive, for the money they are great.

I have a Yamaha rxa2050 9.2 channel avr we run 4 psw111 subwoofers. A Cs6 center channel. We have 8 tsi200 bookshelf speakers. Plus a Yamaha m-80 power amp, 10 gauge dock speaker cable. I spent a lot of money, but not that much! I've listened to $30.000 dollar systems. If I blindfolded you. You wouldn't know which is which, if you want a nice stereo these speakers are what you need. There's nothing bad about Polk. I'm not going waste anymore of your time. The best thing to do is go to Crutchfield and listen. Your friend Allen,

OK, many rave reviews on these speakers but I have a less shining opinion... the rear ported bass response is rich, natural sounding and deep compared to many full range bookshelf speakers but unfortunately, the highs are edgy and harsh to the ear in the 3k - 5k range. They do not lack high end sizzle as much as those frequencies are overpowered by the sharp frequencies the tweeters seem to emphasize. The lack of warmth and smoothness in the high end can be rectified when sweetened up with a 3db+/- dip at around 4k using a 10 or more band equalizer. With most amps & receivers, the frequency bands boosted or rolled back by a single treble control is just not in the proper range to control the offending high end sound. Overall, usable but disappointing.
