This camera is better then the one it replaced which was a polaroid i737 (an earlier model). It has more options, which I am still learning.

This is my first digital camera and so far it's been great. I had to call Polaroid because the intructions we're not clear on the sd cards it used. Good thing I did because the gentleman at Polaroid recommended that the micro sd card needs the adapter when used with this camera. According to him the pins sometimes don't line up. So I use a 2gig sd card it's plenty for me. So this is a small light inexpensive camera that for my needs its fine. Also the shipping from Tiger Direct was supper fast.
When I first thought about buying this camera I decided to look up reviews and was worried about many of them said stuff like great camera for kids, had me worried that it might just be a cheep toy. But I bought one anyways mostly because I trust brands such as Polaroid (or kodak) that seem to be a couple of the oldest manufacturers in the industry. But about the camera. PRO'S: - vibrant Cristal clear 2.7" LCD screen. - It's Polaroid 10.0mp Quality is slightly better then a 10.2 Nikon and superior to a 12.0mp Vivitar. - It has great sound Quality, if you ever find your self watching videos you took on it. - The menu and function buttons are easy to navigate. - The Auto adjust function works beautifully, no matter where I go I never have to adjust any of my settings to get the optimal picture. - It has a battery function in witch you can optimise's the camera to get the most out of ether alkaline, lithium ion, NiMH and another I forget. - Rechargeable batterys last forever on one charge! CON'S; - The battery's and SD card slot are separate from each other and the tab you pull up to insert the SD card feels as though it may break if I'm not Careful - This thing is a monster battery eater EDIT; I bought NiMH (2450mah Duracell rechargeable batterys)And they last FOREVER on one charge, when I got it I put new battery's in it and they wore dead 3 days later, So I would suggest buying rechargeable or not leaving battery's in it. Thats all, As I get further use out of this camera I may update this review, thanks for reading.Read full review
Great camera for novices or low-tech people like me. I bought to replace my Kodak EasyShare (LCD died). Mostly used for quick family shots and eBay listings. Quality of pics is outstanding. Price was perfect for my needs and budget. My daughter keeps stealing it from me! The 'steady' feature is unbelievable-she was spinning around in a chair while testing it, and the picture came out as clear as if she were sitting still. Features are easy to navigate. Would highly recommend.
