These where installed in a 2014 Mazda CX5 Sport edition, before these I installed a Pioneer AVH series double din deck with four pioneer 6-1/2 speakers in each door. This was a decent upgrade alone, however something felt like it was missing. Once I found out that Mazda on their sport edition cheaps out and does not Install dash speakers, so get this they run the wire, there is clearly space for a 3.5" speaker and everything, but they literally pulled out early and cheated out on the speakers. Once I learned this I knew this needed to be corrected. For those of you who have done this on a Mazda, know that those dash speakers are packed into a tight space. Now that these speakers are installed I do not regret my purchase. I must say though they are 3.5's they pack a decent punch, I was shocked at the build and sound quality, they without a doubt added to my cars sound quality. They are well built, compact design I can't imagine these not fitting in most applications, they definitely have great highs and mids, they throw some decent bass tones however don't expect these to vibrate your glass windows, this is why you have a dedicated subwoofer. The one thing I recommend is if you do not have a dedicated crossover is to put a bass filter (aka...capacitor I included a photo so you guys can see what it looks like) on the positive line for these speakers, I went with a 200Hz blocker at 4ohms, your could go wth either a 150-200Hz blocker but do not go above 300Hz cause this will begin with affect female and more so male voices, however I digress, doing this will save your 3.5's from playing the super lows Hz's (which in realty speakers of this cone size you won't hear the super low Hz) so putting a bass blocker gives that otherwise waisted power back to the deck to be used by your other speakers (aka stressing your system less) and will help prevent amplifier clipping... Overall, these are a fantastic buy that greatly improved my system, if you need a speaker for a tight space, that's decent quality, and won't break the bank. Look no further Read full review

I wanted replacement dash speakers that would be driven well off a low powered factory stereo. I chose these because of a low RMS and high sensitivity. Also deeper frequency response than many, but built-in bass blockers so I didn't have to find my own and worry about them not being a good match. They fit in my Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera with no modifications or problems. I took the included wiring and flattened the ends into blade terminals so I didn't have to cut my factory wiring either, just plug them in. They sound very good. A nice amount of bass (for 3.5" speakers), and I think more mids than the stock speakers. Which is good because I was concerned about losing mids with aftermarket speakers.

Small enough to fit under the dash of a 1970 Chevelle. I must emphasize that since these are 3.5 speakers, there's no way to realistically expect a ton of bass from them. With that said, I like the tweeter speaker which adds more clarity to the high frequency sounds and gosh the sounds that come out are so clear. For as long as I can remember, pioneer speakers have always sounded real good to me which is why I bought this brand to begin with.

GOOD EBAYER!These speakers are incredible. I needed to replace the speakers in my 1999 Dodge Ram Wagon (full size van). Only 2 of the 6 speakers were working. The factory setup is 3.5's on each side of the dash, 6x9's in the front doors, and 6x9's in the rear panels. I used Mopar replacements for the 6x9's, but could not find discount priced Mopar 3.5's for immediate sale, so I researched the aftermarkets reading reviews and narrowed down to these, as I wanted lower priced speakers. Anyone can spend 100+ bucks on 3.5's but I wanted the best bang for the (low) buck. Now, after hearing the 3.5's, I honestly wish I had replaced ALL my 6x9's with this line of speakers from Pioneer. The 3.5's in the dash absolute scream in comparison with the Mopar factory speakers -- the Pioneers are incredibly efficient, clean, and project extremely well! As stated in other reviews, they do produce some nice bass tones -- not enough to stand alone (unless they had to) -- but definitely a nice complement to full system. As a value conscious person who only likes the best, I highly recommend these speakers. I will be using speakers from this Pioneer line for my other vehicle. I'm a working drummer and use this van to haul my equipment and I will not compromise on sound quality. I feel that these speakers do an excellent job of reproducing music the way I like to hear it. They are a real winner in my book: excellent sound and low price. Now lets hope they last!Read full review
Just what the doctor ordered. Wanted to install a cheaper system in my 2016 Camry that still sounded good, so I put these in the dash corners and they dropped right in. Sound SOOOOO much better than the crappy factory speakers. Added these and the matching larger sized Pioneer speakers all around and the sound improvement is huge.
