Don't let the price point fool you, this is probably, the most SQ, you will get from a 12" subwoofer in this class. High efficiency design, means not having to use a thousand Watts to push this sub. It's low frequency response, enables you to feel & hear the bass better, more accurately than other budget subs. Works great sealed it ported. An honest 100 - 200 Watts RMS will run this sub all day, with commanding clarity & low distortion. Not an SPL sub, but more focus on Sound Quality. If you are a Watt freak, this not the sub for you. This is for people, who want accuracy, over loudness. A great sub for old schoolers, that have been out of the game for awhile, but want SQ, without breaking the bank.

Built a sealed box for the jeep and added a 250 watt amp. When we played the radio it was ok but we were expecting more bass. I tuned the radio features a little and then ran bluetooth music off my phone and WOW. Got a lot of thump...very impressed with the sound now...

Pioneer's entry level TS-W126M 12's are a great addition to a budget system. Whether you prefer sealed or ported, these subs sound great. They boast a maximum power rating of 1300 watts, but they run smoothly at 75 - 200 watts RMS. Definitely not for the SPL crowd, they offer controlled, tight bass.

Sounds good and at a good price that won't break the bank. The only thing I don't care for is the surround is foam instead of a rubber. Which isn't a big issue the other pioneer subs have lasted around 10 years.

When we received it you could tell it had been used ( just a odd smell coming from the coil ) but once installed it it worked perfectly fine no issues... so far.
