We originally borrowed this from the library and liked it so much we ordered it. I was at a loss for packing nutritional lunches that my 7 year old would eat. This gave us lots of ideas and has helped my daughter from being so picky. I think the vivid pictures and the fact that she can help or make some herself did the trick.
I bought this cookbook for my 4-year old son who is really enjoying learning how to cook. I looked at many different cookbooks and chose this one for its real life pictures of every recipe(many others had cartoon pictures, or no pictures at all) and clear, easy directions on how to make the recipes. I liked that the recipes vary from assembling a "super sub", to cooking a roll-up lasagna, to mixing a smoothie. My son has already made several of the recipes and we have liked them all.
This book was a Christmas gift for my son, it has some really cute ideas and really easy for kids to do... if they're old enough, most of the stuff they can do by themselves =0)so they feel independant and that they are making their own treat for the family!!!
I LOVE TO COOK.and i have a young lady at home, who is interested in doing as mommy does.i purchased the book for her to make it easier for her to actually be able to go into the kitchen, and start the process of learning how to actually make something herself without so much help.so she can say she did it.we are both having fun with this book.its great im glad i brought it.
Good cookbook for kids
