Very sturdy unit! I was able to mount my round reflector without issues. Only thing I did is I loosened and removed one end, inserted the center locking piece and reattached the end, so it is configured like a "T" on my tripod and more balanced, not cantilevered to one side as delivered, to make it more wind resistant outdoors where I make most of my photo shoots.
