With steel cage and heavy duty canvas, this is by far most durable crate I have seen or used. It is very roomy for 55 lb lab, takes about 20 sec to set up or take down. Even the screen is thicker than others I had. My dog is crate train so it was easy to use and it stand up to scratching and moving around inside (as others were tipped over). downside to sturdiness is it is bit more bulkier than popups and heavier. Still, good choice to carry around for camping and hotels.

I've used it maybe four times with my English cream retriever and came home tonight to the front of the crate ripped and shredded and my dog loose in my sister in laws house. Super satisfied at first. We have kept it up when not in use, and it had NO signs of any damage from previous use. So it maybe took him 5 minutes to shred it. Will not buy another.

This is a good sturdy unit, better than the one we had before. The material is thicker and it was easier to assemble, just had to match up the rods. The down side is there are no handles to carry the unit from room to room, you have to pick it up from the bottom, unless i am just blind. It also would have been nice to come with a pad for the dog, we use a heavy duty old towel that we throw in the wash every week. The dog likes it!

For the price this is a great product. The mesh on the door is a little “thin” so it could be torn by your dogs nails.

real nice carrier. Seems to be good quality and my yellow lab really enjoys it.
