As an advanced exerciser, I'm always on the lookout for workouts which really make you feel the burn. The reviews I read for this DVD said just that about it, and for the most part, those reviews were right. Jackie's workout consists of several 4-minute circuits. Each circuit consists of three one-minute exercises and then a one-minute 'power burn' which puts all three exercises together quickly. She has circuits covering all the major muscle groups...quads, hamstrings, glutes, chest, back, upper abs, lower abs, and obliques. Each of these circuits concentrate solely on that muscle group. The one circuit out of the bunch which really disappointed me was the one which combines biceps, triceps, and shoulders. She does one exercise for each area and then combines them in the power burn. She explains that these muscles are not big fat burners, but that doesn't mean I don't want to work them as hard as my other body parts! As a result, I was not feeling the burn as much in my arms as I was for the other areas. I would have preferred she made the 40-minute total body workout into 60 minutes by including a more detailed circuit for each of those three muscles. What I ended up doing was going back after the whole workout and doing the arm section again which helped bring those muscles closer to fatigue for me. I definitely like that she includes many moves in this workout which I have never seen before. That's a great way to surprise your muscles which helps them keep burning that fat. I will add this DVD to my rotation, but I will need to tweak it just that little bit in order to get a great workout for the arms as well.Read full review
I absolutely love this video! It pushes you to tone your whole body. After finishing the video the first time I was amazed how my whole body was sore. There is no doubt about it you are completely changing your body. In just the first two months I've already lost 20 pounds and a full dress size. I completely recommending this at least 3 times a week. Even if you don't want to do the full 40 minutes full body workout you are able to do fifteen mins of a upper , lower body, or even an ab workout. Gotta buy this for sure!
Excellent workout: This is well orchestrated and easy enough to follow yet it is very challenging. Jackie is so personable and likeable: She motivates you to keep going and give just a little more effort. She explains why you are doing what exercises and looking at her body while working out keeps you interested in finishing and trying harder. Boy, was I sore the first few workouts!! I've lost 4 pounds so far and it's only been 8 days.

Look might be a bit dated but workout is good. I purchased a bunch of old workout DVDs to get back into shape and ad some variety into my workouts. I think my favorite Jackie Warner DVD is her one for abs. Overall good workout and not overly long. It's good to add some variety to my workouts.

The item was well packaged and No damage to the item. I got this DVD to get my body toned and this DVD does just that!!! When you do the 40 minute workout you are Really getting a Total Body Workout especially if you use weights. I was not aware that weights were to be used with this DVD until i put it on, so heads up on that.It does say that on the back in small print One to two sets of hand weights are recommended for this workout. I must of missed that in a description somewhere before purchasing, but it's Ok, since the video is worth the Money spent.
