Nice smaller sized glass feeder. Easy to clean & fill. Easy to totally disassemble for thorough cleaning when needed. Hummers seem to really like it. Only downside to this feeder seems to be that it tends to attract bees more than other feeders I've used in the past. That may just be my problem because we do seem to have a lot of bees around the yard. I like the smaller size, with the amount of birds using it, I can fill it every week or so, ensuring that the nectar doesn't get stale.

I bought this feeder because bees are all over the old style feeder, and actually get in and drown, this feeder attract the bees big time, and is designed as such to lower the level of the feed holes compared to my last one, the feede actually leaks all over the place when filling, and I believe the ports are low enough to seep if in a windy situation, and the birds are constanntly interefered with while trying to feed. Looking for a better design this was not the answer, I think I will try one with a deeper design, with narrow feeding ports no bee guards needed. Have not been pleased with how messy this is! Chris

I have older Perky-pet humming bird feeders Pinch waist [ 4 ] no problems on dripping the UV has taken its toll on the plastic . The new ones have a large mouth easier to fill and clean but they leak bad . I have looked on line to see if I am doing some thing wrong , have tried filling to the top to keep air out they still like to drip................JP

Plastic hummingbird feeders are hard to clean. They retain bleach, which is needed in very small amounts to sanitize. They form mold easily, The glass seems better in both respects. The wide jar opening is easy to clean, though I'm not sure about the bottom plastic yet. It leaks a little, but not as much as previous feeders.

Been using this type of hummingbird feeder for many years and they keep coming every year. About 3-4 regulars. I even make my own sugar/turned red/ syrup food for them and they eat it up.
