Great build quality, compact, light & unobtrusive but expensive.
Despite it's excellent build quality the lens is compact & (relatively) light - the f4 maximum aperture helps here. It's great for Street Photography as, mounted on my K-5, it is unobtrusive & doesn't appear threatening (similar to the DA21 f3.2 which I also use for Street). It's excellent for "shoot from the hip" shots when you don't want to draw attention to myself as it is easy to hold relatively level when the camera is hanging from my neck &, being 15mm, has great DOF even at f4. It has an excellent lens hood. The unique metal, screw in lens cap won't easily get lost (unlike the cap on my DA21 which fell off & was lost forever). It's a Pentax Limited lens so it's well built but expensive. It's a lens that isn't for everyone but for those who like working with prime lenses & appreciate the build quality then this is a great lens if you have a use for it. Having talked about it's use for Street Photography it can equally be used for landscapes & buildings (inside & out) with excellent results.Read full review

Pentax HD DA 15mm F4 Limited
I've used it several times and am very happy with the results. It's nice to have that wider field of view but need to be careful not to have lots of uninteresting content in the image. It produces wonderful images, color is really nice and DOF is really deep. It's well built, the screw on lens cap is different but not a problem for me. The built in slide out lens hood is a nice feature as well. I wanted this lens for a long time and am very happy I made the purchase.

A great DA limited lens as small as all limited Pentax lens. A very goog UWA with a very good building quality. So good that I've immediatly bought another Limted Lens!!
