This is the best collection of post-Beatles material available on Paul McCartney. Its a three disc set, that covers everything from 1970 to 2005. Everything is digital remastered, and what I'm most impressed with is the ROCKSHOW concert, the quality is fantastic. The music videos are a must have for any McCartney fan, and will even let you rediscover some of these classic songs. My only complaints are the lack of RAM footage, and I was hoping for more extra features, like Paul at the Cavern Club in the nineties, or the complete Abbey Road: Chaos and Creation concert (Even though it does include special behind the scenes footage.) All in all, this collection is obviously a gem, and if you don't have it you should buy it, phenomenal.
This is the lousiest work in a collection i've ever seen. What EVERYONE HERE that is posting positive reviews DON'T UNDERSTAND here is that ALL THE VIDEOS were shopped off from the top & bottom, meaning, they placed black bars on top & bottom to make them from their original 4.3 fullscreen version to 16.9 widescreen version for those damn HD WS TV's. These were originally in 4.3 Fullscreen, so all they did & chop them off from the top & bottom, THEY CHEATED US, the consumers, for about 35% from every video, in other worlds, were are NOT getting 100% of the original video. I know Paul had nothing to do with this, it was the damn record company thinking people are so dumb that they wouldn't notice, BUT HELLO RECORD COMPANY, you surely didn't fool me!! This just so you'll know you ARE NOT getting the complete videos, they're missing about 35%. Had i'd known this back in 2007 when I first bought it, I wouldn't have bought, waste of money & they're cheating us for our money.Read full review

Anyone who'd be interested in this is presumably a Paul McCartney fan. While his solo career launched in no small part because of that band he used to be in (I forgot their name...), he had an incredibly long and productive career as a solo artist and still creates new music today. I'm biased, but IMO this is a fantastic retrospective collection that has everything a McCartney fan could hope to see and hear. As a bonus, it includes deeper cuts that were ignored by the proliferation of "classic rock" programming that ignores anything beyond a handful of hit songs they use to define artists of a certain age or decade. McCartney is an artist who continues to create music because that's what he does and art isn't limited to whatever sells the most or whatever the current trends happen to be. In short, this collection is great because McCartney's music is timeless and he is a true icon. Read full review

The 1st 2 of these three discs is made up of music videos that span McCartney's solo career (including his brief collaborations with Michael Jackson). While some of the music has stood the test of time, the videos all look very dated; some weren't very good to begin with. The 3rd disc is the real gem of this set. It contains various live performances from McCartney's 1976 tour of America, a good chunk of a European concert with his current band, his appearance at LIVE AID, the Super Bowl, and MTV's unplugged. Releasing all of these performances in their entirety would have constituted a MUCH better collection.
This 3-DVD set is beautifully organized. The post-Beatles McCartney music videos and live performances are a testament to the brilliance of this man as a song writer and performer. The other material is similarly first class. As great a fan as I am of Paul, this set strengthens my convictions of his level of greatness. Also, this Asian issue of the set is packaged a little differently than the US version. It is not in the traditional DVD set box, but rather a slim slip-folder arrangement. That suits me just fine. I strongly advise this set for anyone giving even the slightest thought about buying it.
